Daniel was born in 1997 in Regensburg, Germany. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degree at the University of Mannheim. During his studies he spent a semester at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. Daniel worked as a teaching assistant for Introductory Finance. In his master's thesis he theoretically analyzed the efficiency of voting mechanisms that account for the intensity of preferences.
His research interests include microeconomics, public choice and mechanism design. In his free time Daniel plays for a local football team.
