Daniel earned his Bachelor‘s and Master‘s degree at the University of Mannheim with a semester abroad at ITESM Mexico-City. In his master‘s thesis he analyzed the theory of voting mechanisms. Throughout his PhD and undergraduate studies Daniel taught classes in Introductory Finance and Economic Policy. Daniel also has a position as a researcher in the Market Design group at ZEW Mannheim (Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research). His research focusses on the microeconomic theory of energy markets.
