Felix Köhler

Felix was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1994. He started his studies in economics at the University of Freiburg (B.Sc.) while working as a research assistant at the Walter Eucken Institut. Before joining the CDSE, he received a master's degree from the University of Mannheim and continued to gain experience in applied economics at the Centre for European Economic Research’s (ZEW) department of “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”.

Felix is particularly interested in microeconomic research in the fields of public economics and the political economy. In his bachelor thesis he explored local officials’ response to freedom of information requests and the master thesis investigates the impact of tax audits. Apart from economics, he enjoys road cycling, running and travelling.
