Ursula earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Humboldt University in Berlin, complemented by a semester abroad at ENSAE in Paris. Throughout her undergraduate years, she served as a research assistant at the Chair of Management Science and within the Macroeconomics Department at the DIW (German Institute for Economic Research). She pursued a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim, specializing in industrial organization and macroeconomics. Concurrently, she contributed as a research student at the Chair of Macroeconomics and Development Economics. Augmenting her studies, Ursula embarked on internships at the German Central Bank and Allianz Investment Management. She wrote her master's thesis about market design at the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research.
Her research focus lies at the intersection of Labor and Family Macroeconomics.
