Ursula was born in 1995 in Bonn. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Humboldt Unversity in Berlin and spent a semester abroad at the ENSAE in Paris. During her bachelor's studies, Ursula worked as a research assistant for the Chair of Management Science and at the Macroeconomics Department of the DIW (German Institute for Economic Research).
After that, she pursued her studies with a master’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim. She lied her primary focus on industrial organization and macroeconomics. During that time she worked as a research student for the Chair of Macroeconomics and Development Economics. After supplementing her studies with an internship at the German Central Bank and Allianz Investment Management, she concluded her master’s degree with a thesis in Market Design which she wrote at the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research.
She is particularly interested in Financial Economics, Monetary Economics, Macroeconomics, Market Design, Economic History and Energy Economics.
