Max Riegel

Max was born in 1997 in Donauwörth, Germany. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Studies in the beautiful city of Nuremberg. During his bachelor studies, he spent one semester at the University of Turku, Finland. He then moved to Mannheim and obtained his master's degree in Economics. Alongside his studies, he gathered practical experience as an intern for a public sector, as well as an economic consultancy, and teaching experience as a TA for Microeconomics. Max's research interests include Industrial Organization, Political Economy, and Experimental Economics. His master's thesis was part of a joint project with Prof. Duk Gyoo Kim, which resulted in their working paper titled “Rank versus Inequality – Does Gender Composition Matter?”.

In his spare time, Max enjoys long walks and runs along the Neckar, as well as playing football and table tennis.
