Pablo grew up in Concepcion, Chile. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Göttingen. During his studies, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University and as a research project manager of a Randomized Control Trial in India. He participated in development field work in Uganda and East India. After his graduation, he completed the Advanced Studies Program at the IfW Kiel. He gained further professional experience at the Bundesbank’s Research Centre and at the Chilean Think Tank “Libertad y Desarrollo”. His main research interests include labor and development economics.
