Yann was born in 1994 in Gernsheim, Germany. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Ulm University and spent eight months abroad at the University of Toronto, Canada. After working for two years as an economic consultant, he started his master’s degree at Humboldt University Berlin. Throughout his master’s, he was an external lecturer at University of Europe for Applied Sciences. His research interests are fiscal and monetary policies, especially concerning the interdependence of various dimensions of inequality. He has focused his MA thesis on the macroeconomic impact of forward guidance announcements.
In his free time, you can find him either spending time in nature or enjoying Salsa nights, Muay-Thai, and making great Caipirinhas.
