Yann was born in 1994 in Gernsheim, Germany. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Ulm University and spent eight months abroad at the University of Toronto, Canada. After working for two years as an economic consultant, he started his master’s degree in Economics at Humboldt University Berlin.
His main research interest is causal identification in International Economics and Macro. In particular, he is curious about the identification of supply chain disruptions and determinants of growth, such as market potential. His research projects also relate to spatial economics and business cycle theory.
In his free time, you can find him either spending time in nature, enjoying Salsa nights, and making great Caipirinhas.
