Center: Economics

Born in 1997, Henriette grew up in Berlin, Germany. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth, where her focus lay on logic and political theory as well as financial economics. Having completed her undergraduate studies, she gained practical insights into the representation of political interests in Brussels and public sector consulting.

In 2023, Henriette joined the CDSE through the Master of Economic Research (MAER) track at the University of Mannheim. Her research interests lie with applications of fiscal and financial economic theory to inter-Eurozone developments as well as the EU’s strategic investments. In this regard, she analysed Blue Bonds, a model of pooled Eurozone sovereign debt, in their capacity to reduce the marked sovereign-bank nexus in her bachelor’s thesis.

In her free time, Henriette enjoys reading, singing, swimming and taking her bike for a ride.
