Paul was born in 1997 in Troisdorf, Germany. During his bachelor’s studies at the University of Bonn, he spent one semester at the Toulouse School of Economics and completed an internship at the German Monopolies Commission. He obtained his master’s degree at the University of Mannheim. For the first year, he received the Unicredit Masterscholarship.
His interests lie in the field of microeconomics, particularly in industrial organization. In his master’s thesis, he built a model to study the effect of ad-blocking on advertising competition. He worked as a research assistant for Prof. Martin Peitz.
During his free time, Paul plays for a local football team.
