Social Data Science
The CDSS Doctoral Program in Social Data Science offers advanced courses in data analysis methods for the social sciences, drawing from statistics and computer science. These courses are supplemented by topical coursework in the social sciences. The program aims to enable students to more effectively address substantive research questions by using new types of data and methods to exploit them. Students have the opportunity to delve deeper into machine learning and its applications to text, images, videos, and networks.
