Lukas Isermann

Lukas Isermann is a PhD candidate at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioural Sciences and a Research Associate at the Chair of Political Science, Political Psychology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics and a master’s degree in political science both from the University of Mannheim. During his master studies, Lukas spent one semester at the Department of Political Science at Aarhus University, Denmark. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, Lukas worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Political Science, Political Psychology.

Lukas is especially interested in quantitative methods and comparative politics with a focus on political behaviour and attitudes. In his Master thesis, he researched parties’ reaction to the issue of climate change as a consequence of their pre-existing policy position towards related issues. Besides his studies, Lukas is member of the board of the Rationale Altruisten Mannheim e.V. (RAM), an association committed to the promotion of young scholars at the School of Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim.
