Hannah Rajski is a PhD candidate in Political Science (CDSS) at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Administration and International Relations from Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, Germany. During her undergraduate studies, Hannah spent a semester abroad at the University of Bergen, Norway, and did it research internship at the University of Bern, Switzerland. For her master’s degree in Politics and Public Administration Hannah studied at the Universities of Konstanz, Germany, and Essex, UK.

She was a research assistant at the Chair of Political Sociology at Zeppelin University and a teaching assistant for “Research Design I: Research Design and Causal Inference” at the University of Konstanz. In her master’s thesis, she employed the synthetic control method to causally assess the effect of mask mandates on COVID-19 cases in Germany. Her main research interests lie in quantitative methods, comparative politics, and political sociology with a focus on political behaviour and elections.
