Milena Rapp

Milena Rapp is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the CDSS and a researcher at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a Master’s degree in Empirical Political and Social Research from the University of Stuttgart. During her studies she worked as a research assistant at various research institutes, such as the institute for employment research.

At MZES, she is working in a DFG funded project investigating issue evolution in multiparty systems. Her current research interests include party competition, voting behaviour, measurement of party positions, and quantitative methods. She is particularly interested in the politicization of the European integration process in the context of multidimensional policy spaces.
