Lisa-Marie Werner is a doctoral candidate in political science at the CDSS. She holds a BA in political science with a minor in mathematics and an MA in political science from the University of Mannheim. During her master studies, Lisa-Marie studied for one semester at New York University. Further, she worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim.
Besides a general interest in quantitative methods, Lisa-Marie’s research focuses mainly on comparative politics. More specifically, her research interests are local politics, governing coalitions, and electoral institutions.
