Jotham Talemwa

Jotham Talemwa is a doctoral student at the University of Mannheim under the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda and a master’s degree in mathematics, economics and statistics, from the African School of Economics. During his graduate studies Jotham worked as a Teaching Assistant and a pre-doctoral fellow at the African School of Economics.

In his master’s thesis, Jotham focused on historical and ethnographic characteristics in conflict analysis. Methodologically, he is especially interested in quantitative methodology looking at conflicts and relationships between state and non-state actors in Africa.
