Lynn-Malou Lutz

Lynn-Malou Lutz is a doctoral candidate in sociology at the the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS). She holds a BA in sociology with a minor in philosophy from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and a MA in sociology from the University of Mannheim. During her master’s degree, she worked at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences on various projects, most recently on the 'Deutschland-Monitor'. Prior to this, she worked as an intern at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the Early Childhood Education and Care team.

In her master's thesis, she analysed how the transition to the secondary school in Germany affects the skills of students. She also investigated the influence of a (non) binding teacher recommendation on the child's competences based on different federal states.
