Dr. Muhammad Muhammad is a doctoral student in political science at the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences (GESS) of the University of Mannheim. Muhammad holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, and he holds a PhD in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
Muhammad obtained his master’s degree in political science at the university of Mannheim with a master's thesis titled “The People vs Human Rights”, which investigated the relation between populist and technocratic attitudes and support for various human rights. Muhammad’s research interests include research methods, especially geodata, the war in Ukraine, Populism, and attitudes towards human rights particularly in the context of apparently competing economic and strategic considerations.
