Rita Sousa Receives Open Science Grant
Knowledge Graph Embeddings are a valuable asset for building AI systems based on knowledge graphs, as they can form a bridge between the graph-shaped data representations of many complex data sets to the numeric representations used internally in machine learning and artificial intelligence. While they are heavily used, they are currently only scarcely reused.
The Open Science Office of the University of Mannheim funds projects that are intended to foster reproducible open science. One of those projects has been awarded to Dr. Rita Sousa. In her project, she aims at developing an infrastructure that allows for sharing up-to-date and versioned embeddings for commonly used knowledge graphs, and at defining standards for sharing and exchanging such knowledge graph embeddings.
