Renewal Schneckenhof

Whether it’s the Norwegian parties, the Schlossfest or lunch breaks: The Schneckenhof of the University of Mannheim brings people together. Generations of students and alumni have made memories for life here – at parties, too, of course, but not only. In addition, it is the perfect place for many students and employees to relax and take a break on campus.

The name Schneckenhof (“snail yard”) derives from the four little towers that can be found on the staircases and have the form of snail shells. The Schneckenhof has now become outdated and is in need of refurbishment in many areas, so that it is no longer representative of a university like the University of Mannheim. The University of Mannheim Foundation is currently planning a renovation and would appreciate your support.
