Funding Program: Equal Opportunity Initiatives
At the University of Mannheim, committed staff members frequently develop self-initiated activities that often cannot be implemented because they do not fit into existing funding structures.
This is where the Equal Opportunity Initiatives funding program of the central equal opportunity commissioners comes in: it supports activities that contribute to achieving the University of Mannheim’s equal opportunity goals.
Who can apply?
Eligible applicants are academic and non-academic staff members of the University of Mannheim.
Funding amount
- EUR 250 to EUR 1,000
- The exact amount of funding depends on the scope and requirements of the proposed measure.
Funding period
Grants may be requested for personnel, travel, and/
Funding is awarded on a rolling basis for a maximum period of twelve months, until the annual budget has been exhausted.
Eligibility criteria
Funding may be granted provided that
- the project contributes to strengthening gender equality at the University of Mannheim,
- no alternative funding or financing options are available, and
- the requested funding amount is between EUR 250 and EUR 1,000.
Application process
Applications may be submitted at any time and must include:
- a completed application form (PDF, 83 kB),
- a project description (max. 2,000 characters), and
- the applicant’s CV (max. one page).
