After a voluntary year of social service as an English teacher in Vietnam, Lena Rudat obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (B.Sc.) from the University of Mannheim as part of the IBEA program, in which she spent one semester at each of the three partner universities, University of South Carolina (USA), ESSEC Business School (Singapore) and FGV Ebape (Brazil). After her Bachelor’s degree and an internship in a corporate data science department, she continued her higher education at the University of St. Gallen with a Master of Strategy and International Management (SIM). During her studies she worked as a research assistant for the St. Gallen Centre for Diversity and Inclusion and the Research Institute for International Management. For her active engagement for gender equality, she was awarded the Zonta International Women in Business prize in 2019. Lena joined the Management Track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
