Kyung eun Park was born in Cheonan, South Korea. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Sungkyunkwan University in Korea, where she made the first step into research and participated in the European Academy of Management (EURAM) with research in the field of organizational behavior and human resource management.

During her Master’s degree at the University of Mannheim, she worked as a student assistant for the Chair of SME Research and Entrepreneurship, where she presented in multiple conferences on the topic of family businesses and entrepreneurship, and for the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics, where she gained research insights into marketing. Before joining the CDSB, she gained practical experience as an IT consultant with a global consumer electronics company as a client, which allowed her to gain an expertise in digitalization.

Kyung eun joined the Management Track at the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2023.
