Jan completed his Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich, including an exchange semester at Fudan University in Shanghai. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Sustainable Finance at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo and spent a semester abroad at Bocconi University in Milan.
Alongside his studies, Jan gained practiccal experience in venture capital, including roles as a Deal Flow Analyst at Katapult Ocean and as an Investment Analyst at Hadean Ventures. His main interests are in venture capital and entrepreneurial finance.
In September 2026, Jan joined the Finance Track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS).
