Larissa Meyer obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau in 2022. Parallelly, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Transformation in Business and Society from the same university in 2023, focusing on Management and IT-Law. Larissa subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Management, specializing in Taxation and Management, at the University of Mannheim. As part of her studies, she spent a semester abroad at Université Laval in Québec, Canada, and at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland. In her Master’s Thesis she analyzed determinants of divergent ATAD implementations across EU Member States. Her academic interests lie in the coordination and efficiency of international taxation and in working with data.

She was previously employed as Research Assistant at the Chair of Accounting and Controlling in Passau as well as at the Chair of Business Administration and Taxation in Mannheim and worked as a Tutor for Taxation at the same Chair. Additionally, Larissa has gained internship experience in International Tax Advisory at WTS and EY.

In September 2026, she joined the Taxation Track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS).
