In 2024, Max completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim.
He subsequently joined the Mannheim Master in Management (MMM) program, specializing in Taxation with a minor in Tax Law. In 2026, he earned his Master’s degree. His Master’s thesis examined the impact of the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD) on the real economic activity of multinational enterprises’ subsidiaries within the European Union.
During his studies, Max spent a semester abroad at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen.
He gained professional experience in taxation through internships at Deloitte, Flick Gocke Schaumburg, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later held a working student position at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Max joined the Taxation Track at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) in September 2026.
