Yufei was born in Jilin, China. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2021. She then worked as a gold analyst for over two years, supporting the trading desk with investment research and the execution of derivatives trades. This professional experience sparked her strong interest in empirical asset pricing. 

In 2026, she earned a Master’s degree in Economics from Central European University, with a thesis on monetary policy and option-implied volatility. Subsequently, she joined the Finance track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences.
