Francesco was born in Termoli, Italy. He studied at the University of Bologna and obtained a master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics. Before joining the CDSE, he worked as a pre-doctoral researcher at Bocconi University, where he is currently affiliated with LEAP-INSPIRE Bocconi. His main research interests lie in labor, education, and urban economics, with a focus on how spatial heterogeneity shapes individual behavior and local growth dynamics.
