Simon Perschke

Simon was born in Darmstadt, Germany, in 2000. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business and Economics from the University of Mannheim and a Master's degree in Research in Economics from the University of Vienna. During his studies, he gained experience as a research assistant at several institutes in Vienna and as a teaching assistant at the University of Vienna. He is also a co-organiser of FiscalFuture Austria, an initiative making fiscal and budget policy accessible to a wider audience.

His research interests lie in labour and macroeconomics, with a focus on how automation and artificial intelligence shape income distribution and labour market policy.

In his free time, Simon plays football, gets lost in books, and cooks pasta from his favourite cookbook.
