Lara Többen is a PhD student in Psychology (CDSS) at the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Mannheim. She obtained both her Bachelor´s degree as well as her Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Mannheim, focusing on the topics of Work, Economy and Society for the latter. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Experimental Psychology.

In her Master’s thesis, she examined the effects of perceived economic inequality on trust behavior within a trust game. Her future research interests continue to concern economic inequality in respect to its subsequent effect on interpersonal interactions as well as its perceived fairness. She aims to explore the topics via experimental methods such as other economic games.
