Anna Aigner is a doctoral candidate in political science at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS). She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Mannheim and a bachelor’s degree from the Technical University of Munich. As part of her PhD, she works as a research associate at the Chair of Political Psychology. She is specifically interested in the role of personality in politics: In her dissertation, she investigates how trait configurations within and between individuals shape the political behavior of citizens and political elites. Her broad research interests include political behavior, party competition, and quantitative methods.
