Stefan Höller is a doctoral candidate in political science at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS). He holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Gothenburg and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Vienna. During his graduate studies, he worked as a research assistant in the INTRAPARTY project led by Prof. Ann-Kristin Kölln at the University of Gothenburg, where he studied party organizations and internal party conflict

Stefan’s research interests include political parties, political behavior, intra-party politics, and multi-level political systems. In his master’s thesis, he used a survey experiment to investigate how disagreement between national and regional party organizations affects partisan cue-taking. His methodological interests include quantitative methods, survey experiments, and computational approaches to political science. In his doctoral research he will continue investigating the causes and effects of party politics in multi-level systems.
