Safety and Emergencies

Ensuring that our campus is a safe place is a top priority for the University of Mannheim and a responsibility we all share. Be aware of your surroundings and look out for yourself and others. If you or others feel unsafe or if people are threatened, please inform the university—be it immediately or later on. The university’s counseling services and management are here to listen and take your concerns and reports seriously.

In cases of emergency

  • Police: 110
  • Fire department and/or ambulance 112
  • Emergency number within the university: 1110 (Reception Desk)

Please remember to dial an additional 0 prior to the regular phone number when calling from the university network, i.e., from your office telephone. This also applies when calling 110 or 112.
