All students studying at a higher education institution in Germany are required to pay a semester fee. The semester fee charged by the University of Mannheim is currently EUR 174.90. You need to pay this fee in order to be enrolled or re-registered for the next semester. The semester fee is made up of three separate contributions:
Administration fee: EUR 70
Studierendenwerk fee: EUR 95.40
Fee for the constituted student body: EUR 9.50
International exchange students are exempted from paying the administration fee due to exchange agreements between the higher education institutions. Moreover, they do not need to pay the fee for the constituted student body. Therefore, international exchange students only pay the Studierendenwerk fee.
Please transfer the semester fee to the bank account of the University of Mannheim indicated below before the re-registration deadline. As a payment reference, please make sure to indicate your name, student ID number, and the semester for which you wish to enroll or re-register.
