Counseling and Support Services at the University

This page provides an overview of counseling and support services available to the different groups across the university community.

  • During consultations, any information you provide will be treated confidentially, and we will help you determine the next steps that are appropriate for your individual situation. Following a consultation, we will not take any further action unless you expressly ask us to do so during the consultation.
  • If you file a formal complaint, we will review the circumstances of the case and take further action where appropriate. Please note that a complaint initiates a formal procedure and therefore cannot be treated with the same level of confidentiality as a consultation. The measures taken in response to a complaint depend on the individual case and may, for example, involve criminal or disciplinary proceedings.
To ensure that you are aware of your rights and obligations in the complaint procedure as well as the possible courses of action, we recommend that you first arrange a non-binding, confidential consultation with the appropriate contact persons.
