Going to North Carolina

The US state of North Carolina is situated in the southeast of the USA next to the Atlantic coast. Both the mountains and the coastal region feature exceptionally diverse and stunning landscapes. With the history of its founding, many historical sites, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina has a rich cultural heritage. Furthermore, many renowned higher education institutions are located in North Carolina, including the 16 public universities participating in the exchange program with Baden-Württemberg (BW/NC program). On the American side, the BW/NC program is coordinated by the Global Engagement Office at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
