• The THE World University Rankings assess research-intensive universities across their core activities: teaching, research and research influence, knowledge transfer, and internationalization.
• The latest rankings looked at 2,000 higher education institutions worldwide, including 58 German institutions.
• The rankings are based on the results of reputation surveys as well as the analysis of bibliometric databases and statistical key figures provided by the higher education institutions. It has long been considered one of the most renowned rankings in the global higher education sector.
