Research prize awarded by the Mannheim Business School

The research award was presented in May at the Business School Convention. The award recognizes outstanding achievements in cutting-edge research, securing research funding, fostering scientific talent, and commitment to the research community.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Reichelstein, holder of the endowed chair in Business Administration, receives the “Best Senior Researcher Award 2024”. His research ranks him among the world’s leading scholars in the field of sustainable energy systems and energy economics. At the University of Mannheim, he is establishing the Mannheim Institute for Sustainable Energy Studies (MISES), whose research focuses on the business and economic costs of the energy transition.
