Personal profile

Professor Matthias Krause has held the Chair of Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Mannheim since 2005. In the past, he has already been actively involved in university self‑governance on several occasions, including serving as Dean of the School Business Informatics and Mathematics from 2005 to 2008, as Vice‑President for Structural and Development Planning and Information Provision from 2010 to 2012, and as Deputy Chair of the University Supervisory Board from 2019 to 2024.
