The public hydrogen filling station and parts of the charging infrastructure are being funded by the Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector as part of the H2Rhein-Neckar hydrogen demonstration project. The total cost of the project for the new depot is 24.5 million euros.
