For Prospective Students

What should I study? How do I find the right degree program? How can I finance my studies? The University of Mannheim assists prospective students as they consider pursuing a degree.

Programs

We have 80 bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs that are international and have an interdisciplinary focus. Some of them, e.g. the bachelor's program in Culture and Economy or the Integrated Program in Law, are unique in Germany.

Advice and Services

Which program is the right fit for me? What do I want? Do I want to study at university and which program would be best? We are happy to advise you and will help you with choosing a program or searching for the right contact person.

International Applicants

The International Office advises and assists our international applicants.

 

We open our doors to all those who want to continue learning, including, for example to senior citizens and guest students, to school pupils attending the Kids' University, and to the public in one of numerous courses.

Experience the University

Do you want to get an idea of university life? Currently, it is possible to experience the university digitally and in-person. So, take advantage of our offer and get to know the University of Mannheim better in the online taster courses and on our campus tour.

Life in Mannheim

Studying at a palace with stucco and cobblestone pavement. Having barbecues by the river and going for drinks in Jungbusch. Taking a hike or going on a bike tour in the Palatinate or the Odenwald. Life in Mannheim is good.

Application and Admission

We have compiled an overview on the most important information, requirements and deadlines and will guide you through the application process. If you have additional questions, the Admissions Office will help.

Finance and Grants

Scholarships, jobs, or BAföG – there are different ways you can finance your studies, a semester abroad or a doctorate. We will inform you about the different options and are happy to help you.
