International QS Ranking: The University of Mannheim Is Germany’s Best University in Economics and Business Administration

In the current “QS World University Ranking by Subject”, the University of Mannheim has been named the fourth best German university in the Social Sciences and Management category.

In this category, the University of Mannheim was evaluated in six different areas. It was particularly successful in the areas of Accounting & Finance and Business & Management Studies, where it ranked first in Germany in each case. In Economics & Econometrics it ranked second. Overall, Mannheim is hence the best-ranked German university in business and economics. Moreover, in Politics & International Studies, the University of Mannheim ranked once again number 2, in Sociology number 3 in Germany. For the first time, Mannheim’s Communication and Media Studies were ranked, coming in at rank 8 right off the bat. In Psychology, which is assigned to the Life Sciences & Medicine category in the QS Ranking, the University of Mannheim again ranked fourth in Germany.

The “QS World University Rankings by Subject“ are published every year and this year rank more than 1,500 universities worldwide in terms of their research reputation, the number and quality of their publications, and the reputation of graduates with employers.
