Choir and Orchestra Are Looking for New Members
The University Choirwill rehearse every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. from 11 February 2025. If you would like to participate, please register at unichor-magmx.de.
Please state your name and voice type in the e-mail, as well as one of the four categories:
1. Can always, will be there on the rehearsal weekend, will be there at the concert
2. Can (almost) always, will be there on the rehearsal weekend, will be there at the concert
3. Can (almost) always, will not be there on the rehearsal weekend, but will be there at the concert
4. Can't always, will not be there on the rehearsal weekend, will not be there at the concert
Rehearsal weekend: 16 May 2025 to 18 May 2025
Concert: 20 May 2025
The university orchestrawill rehearse every Monday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. starting on 17 February. If you would like to join, please contact the conductor, Manus O'Donnell, by email. The next auditions for new musicians will take place on 15 and 22 February 2025.
The orchestra is currently looking for trombones, tuba, oboe, bassoon, flute and string instruments in particular. The program includes Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 and Bruch's Violin Concerto in G minor.
Rehearsal weekend: 2–4 May
Dress rehearsal: Saturday, 10 May
Concerts: Sunday, 11 May, 5 pm & Monday, 12 May, 8 pm
