Sustainability Program for Visiting Scholars

Sustainability is not just a word, but the most important social challenge of our time. For this reason, the University of Mannheim will offer a new program starting in the fall/winter semester 2023 to work on the topic of sustainability together with guests.

The aim is to discuss ideas with internationally recognized experts and initiate new sustainability-related research and teaching activities. The program enables each school to use central funds to invite experts in sustainability research. This impulse is intended to create an (international) network for the University of Mannheim’s expertise on sustainability issues and to implement effective long-term measures. The funds are available up to and including December 2025.
