Call for Open Science Grants 2006

Until August 12, researchers at the University of Mannheim can receive up to 6,500 EUR through the Open Science Grants.

Through the Open Science Grants 2026, the University of Mannheim supports researchers who are committed to greater transparency, openness and reproducibility in science. Funding is available for projects and events that have a clear link to open science.

Doctoral candidates, postdocs and (junior) lecturers from all faculties at the University of Mannheim are eligible to apply. The maximum grant amount is 6,500 euros for a duration of up to one year. Applications from individuals with no prior experience in the field of Open Science are particularly welcome. The Open Science Office offers targeted support for this purpose. An online information session, for which registration is required, will take place on Thursday 9 July from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Further information on the submission period, which runs until Wednesday 12 August 2026, and on registering for the information sessions can be found on the Open Science Grants website.
