For the fifth time, the city of Kassel is announcing a nationwide call for entries for the “Kassel Democracy Impulse” award. The award is endowed with 10,000 euros for the first time and is expected to be presented in the spring of 2027. Interested parties may submit their applications by August 15, 2026.
The award aims to recognize outstanding scientific work as well as in-depth, analytical and investigative journalistic contributions that adress group-related hostility and politically motivated violence.
