ADAN Career Day 2023 – Europe's largest BPoC fair & regional network

This year ADAN also invites companies and participants* to exchange ideas and make contacts. The diverse program includes:

• Keynote speeches and panel discussions by experts on careers, corporate culture and the labor market.
• Panels on “The relevance of employee networks for BPoC & employers”, "-Inspiring career paths in Germany – How I became what I am”.
• Guests such as Aimen Abdulaziz-Said (journalist and TV presenter ARD-Mittagsmagazin), Cassandra Pope (Head of Portfolio Management @ Zalando SE & Founder of Zalando's Black Employee Connection) or Deborah Crentsil (Project Lead @ABS Life Allianz Grace Network).

ADAN Network
ADAN is an inclusive network of Afro-German and Africa-interested students, professionals, trainees and academics that aims to provide a differentiated picture of the African continent, Africans and Afro-Germans, as well as to make visible and promote diversity in German society. It is a network that brings together students, professionals and companies/organizations. This creates the opportunity to gain useful experience through volunteer work, by getting involved in diverse projects and by contributing and implementing one's own ideas.

People of the University of Mannheim, who are interested, can join the networking group in the Rhine-Neckar region. The next Get Together will take place on 1 June 2023 at 6 pm at the Neckarorte Strandbar Römerbad.
