Call for Teaching: Winter School “Cultural Perspectives on Sustainability”

We invite teaching staff from ENGAGE.EU partner universities to apply as workshop instructors.

The School of Humanities invites external teaching staff from ENGAGE.EU partner universities to apply as workshop instructors for the Winter School “Cultural Perspectives on Sustainability,” planned for January 2027. The same four-hour, English-language, interactive workshop is to be held on two consecutive days between 11 and 15 January 2027.

The thematic focus is on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and relevant adjacent fields, always from a cultural or humanities perspective, e.g., migration, inclusion, disability, ecology and environment, gender/sexuality, digitalization/AI, etc.

The target group will be approximately 15–25 bachelor’s students. Compensation is approximately €600 and a certificate. Travel and accommodation should be arranged through the home university via Erasmus+ Staff Mobility.

The application deadline is 15 June 2026. Application materials should include a CV; a detailed workshop concept including methods, learning objectives, and, optionally, partners from civil society, business, or politics; as well as your availability during the first week of the Winter School. Please address applications to Nico Stab at winterschool.philuni-mannheim.de. We will inform you of our decision by 4 July 2026. Please check the attached Call for Teaching for further details.
