Leeds/Mannheim Online Seminar Series: The Code of Capital: How the Law Creates Wealth and Inequality

Katharina Pistor will give the last lecture of the online series with topics related to business law for the time being.

Together with the Centre for Business Law and Practice at the University of Leeds Law School, the Department of Law has launched the “Leeds/Mannheim Online Seminar Series”. Four lectures will take place this semester. Professor Dr. Katharina Pistor (Columbia University) will conclude the Seminar Series for the time being with a presentation of her recent monograph The Code of Capital: How the Law Creates Wealth.

The event will be held in English; it is open to all interested parties and is free of charge.
The event will be held and recorded digitally on Zoom. Registration via Eventbrite is required. By registering, participants agree to be recorded. Registration information will be emailed to participants 24 hours prior to each talk. The event will be moderated by Moritz Renner (Mannheim).
