In 2015, Obada Barmou fled Syria for Germany and built a new life for himself. Today, he is in his fifth semester studying Economics at the University of Mannheim, with a minor in Politics; he is active in the Green Party and works as a working student (Werkstudent). In his myUniMA story, he talks about his life story, his political activism and his studies.
