Roman Herzog Research Prize for the Social Market Economy

Every year, the Roman Herzog Institute awards the Roman Herzog Research Prize for the Social Market Economy to three postdoctoral researchers who are exploring the future viability of our economic and social system.

Outstanding doctoral theses and postdoctoral theses are recognised with prize money totalling 35,000 euros. This makes the Roman Herzog Research Prize one of the most generously endowed awards for doctoral and postdoctoral theses in the German-speaking world.

Doctoral theses and postdoctoral theses may be submitted in German or English. The age limit is 40 years.

Deadline: 31.12.2026
