Hello! I’m Christopher and I’m studying the master’s program in Culture and Economy: History with a minor in Business Administration. I’ve been enrolled at the University of Mannheim since the fall semester 2018/2019 and therefore know both the bachelor’s program and the consecutive master’s program very well. By now, I’ve become familiar with various important formalities regarding the examination regulations and, of course, also with numerous modules. I’m happy to help you with any questions regarding your studies, the university, campus life, or life in Mannheim. Feel free to send me a message.

Why I chose this program

The master’s program in Culture and Economy: History combines exciting and interesting aspects of Humanities with Business Administration or Economics. The major in History offers a wide variety of topics, and particularly the opportunity to specialize freely is definitely a plus. In the project seminar, which starts in the second semester and ends in the third, you can work on a really exciting project together with other students. The combination major in Business Administration represents the economic part of your program: Here, you have almost all courses of the Mannheim Master in Management program to choose from—be it Accounting and Taxation, Human Resources, Marketing, or Operations Management. In addition, students have the opportunity to write their master's thesis in Business Administration or Economics, provided they have completed a research seminar in the respective combination major.
